Hello, I'm Brandi Hunter, Founder, of Aspiring Emergency Managers Online. I'm a military spouse, emergency manager, mom, cancer survivor, and most recently an amputee. My passion for emergency management runs deep, and my desire to learn more led me to start AEMO several years ago.

After attending college to study emergency management, then working in the field, I found there were many people like myself who were in the early stages of their careers, seeking the practical skills to break into the field or to become better emergency managers. Like me, they often lacked resources, direction, and a network to learn from and collaborate with.

That's why I started AEMO.
